Sometimes, you’re just strolling through the candy aisle at Target enjoying a brief momcation when you notice a bag of White Chocolate Candy Corn Hershey’s. You remember the box of Trader Joe’s Halloween Joe Joe’s sitting in the pantry at home, and something clicks.
When Pumpkin turned 1, she had a rainbow-themed birthday party and I made these Oreo Pops for favors.
I used the same process to make these Halloween Joe Joe Pops, but without a chocolate warmer.
First, break the chocolate into bits and microwave at 30-second intervals until melted all the way, stirring in between.
Open up all the cookies. Dip a stick into the melted chocolate, place the stick on one half of the cookie and reassemble. (I like to press the stick into the cookie filling a little bit, but you risk breaking the cookie this way. If that happens, you can eat those pieces, or use some of your melted chocolate to put everything back together. I’ll leave that up to you.)
Then, dip the cookie in the melted chocolate. (I used a spoon to get even coverage.) Place the dipped cookies on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, and add sprinkles if you wish.
