Every year since we moved back to Arizona, I’ve wanted to go pick our own peaches. This morning, the girls and I finally checked that off our list.
Immediately, Pumpkin started grabbing tiny, green peaches within her reach, so I showed her to look for bigger ones with a little more color. She had a great time running around looking for peaches.
Peanut, I think, was a little bit afraid to get too close (there were a few flies buzzing around the fruit that had fallen on the ground and it was hard for her to reach – but she did grab a few when I lifted her up to reach closer).
We ended up with about 13 lbs. of peaches! I’ll freeze some for smoothies, and will be on the hunt for some new peach dessert recipes, too. If you have a favorite, leave it in the comments!
Now, photo overload …
