These tiny Easter Bunny Baskets are so quick and easy to make! They’d be great at a table setting if you’re hosting Easter, or to give out to teachers or co-workers.
Before I get into the how-to … can I just confess, I had every single item I needed for this already on hand, other than the chocolate eggs. Is that weird, or do other people save toilet paper rolls for miscellaneous craft projects?
Toilet paper roll
Pom pom or cotton ball
Step 1: Cut the toilet paper roll in half
Step 2: Cut a 2.25 inch strip of white cardstock
Step 3: Using double-sided tape, attach the cardstock to the roll, and wrap it around
Step 4: Trim off excess paper to use for base; use double-sided tape to hold down the end
Step 5: Staple the bottom to give it extra hold (it will be covered with the pom pom)
Step 6: Use hot glue to stick the bottom of the roll to the base; trim once dry
Step 7: While the base dries, cut white paper and pink paper in to ears, glue pieces together
Step 8: Draw on a bunny face
Step 9: Punch holes on each side of the face
Step 10: Glue on the ears and the tail
Step 11: Put the pipe cleaner in each side of the tube to make a handle, and wrap around until tight
Trim the ends if necessary.
Fill with Easter grass and candy!
