For the next in my Four Ways series, we have the Lark Skirt, which I has been in my regular rotation ever since it arrived in my mailbox.
When Lark Skirts launched last year and I started seeing them all over my Instagram feed, I wondered if I needed one. (The power of influencer marketing, haha!) I thought about it for weeks. I realized – I only owned two skirts. Would I wear it? What would I wear it with? When the January skirt was released with a floral Rifle Paper Co. print, I was glad I waited to order one because this was the one for me. It turns out I do wear it. All the time. And with everything! Tanks and graphic tees on the weekends, blouses for the office, stripes for a little pattern play.
One of the reasons I love the floral print is because all of the colors make it easy to mix and match tops and accessories. I also love the length of the skirt (long enough to ride a bike!) and the fact that it has pockets. Plus, my top two requirements: it’s comfortable and versatile. Bonus points that it’s handmade by a locally owned small business that gives back.
