In the few weeks since I shared a bit about how the girls are starting to develop their own unique styles, I have noticed that they do still have some common ground.
They still like to wear matching T-shirts, they’ll both wear leggings, and sometimes Peanut will wear shorts, so I am able to get them into matching outfits every now and then. although skirts and dresses are definitely her preference. Pumpkin’s summer wardrobe staples are shorts and gender neutral tops. Of course, I do still like when they coordinate, and these beachy looks for summer pair well together and they are both comfortable.
My mom’s dad was in the Navy and my mom loved to put me and my sister in sailor dresses when we were little. I love this modern take on the sailor dress with the anchor print, and the open back which is so cute on a toddler.
Patriotic sunnies from the Target dollar spot.
Momma has to get in on the coordination, too!
My dress is from Charlotte Russe and is actually more than 10 years old! I wore it for a photo for a first-person article I wrote for the Yuma Sun about the nautical clothing trend. I was so pleased to find that it still fits! Dizzy sandals are from Garage Boutique in Scottsdale.
These beachy vibes are helping us pretend we’re in the ocean breeze while we survive the scorching temps this week!
